February 2010 Our 1 Year Anniversary

Posted by kormap at 12:41 PM
Our anniversary celebration was roasted and toasted! Ok so mostly roasted and not as much toasted. On the menu, a random salad created in the Spirographed mind of PK, Roasted Chicken, roasted veggies, dinner rolls, and the oh so temper mental chocolate molten lava cakes.

The salad was a homemade blue cheese balsamic vinaigrette dressing, Boston butter lettuce, red onions, red wine poached pears, crumpled blue cheese, pine nuts, and prosciutto crisped in red wine.

The chicken was bound and tied with some red silicone ties that are quite fancy and seasoned with rosemary thyme and very likely some other stuff but since PK was late she is not sure what all else.

The veggies were drizzled in olive oil and scented with rosemary and garlic. The mix of veggies was Eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, tomatoes, red onions and fennel.

Last but not least the oh so temper mental chocolate molten lava cakes, are they really this difficult or are we subconsciously messing them up every time so we are forced into all of these do overs??? No matter how over or undercooked they sure are yummy!
